Configuring your TAP software or alarm system to work with OpenTAP to SMS text messaging gateway.
If your TAP software or alarm system will not connect to our gateway, this is normally caused by improperly configured modem settings. Be sure that you have correctly configured the modem. Our OpenTAP gateway requires that your paging terminals use 7-E-1 (7 data bits, even parity, 1 stop bits) with V.22 modulation and preferred baud rate of 1200 to 2400.
