WhatsApp Business can verify some landline and virtual business numbers using an automated phone call. First, forward your active DIDcomms number directly to a mobile you can answer. Temporarily disable voicemail, menus, call screening, and other features that could answer before you do.
In WhatsApp Business, select the correct country and enter your number in international format. For a UK number, choose +44 and remove the leading zero. Wait for the SMS timer to finish, then select Call me or phone-call verification. Answer the forwarded call and enter the six-digit code in the app.
If the call does not arrive, make a normal test call to the DIDcomms number, check caller blocking, and wait for WhatsApp's retry timer. Meta controls number eligibility and may not support every virtual or non-geographic range.
