Number porting allows you to transfer your existing UK telephone number to DIDcomms without any interruption to service. Once ported, your number benefits from the full DIDcomms feature set — flexible call forwarding, auto attendant, voicemail to email, time-based routing, and more — while callers continue dialling the same number they always have.
Most UK geographic (01/02), national (03), and non-geographic (0800/08x) numbers can be ported to DIDcomms. The porting process is managed entirely by our team. You submit a porting request, we liaise with your existing carrier to agree a transfer date, and your number moves across with no downtime on the agreed date. Typical timelines are 5–10 working days for geographic and 03 numbers, and 10–20 working days for freephone and non-geographic numbers.
