What does DID mean?

Direct Inward Dialling

Direct inward dialling (DID), also called direct dial-in (DDI) in Europe. DID’s are local and national phone numbers, which a telecommunications company issues to its subscribers, used to provide voice, fax, PBX and data calling services.
