Are you having trouble dialling UK 080, 084, 087 and 070 numbers from international phone lines?
If the answer is “YES”, then you need to understand a few things about how telecoms providers work!
When you make an international call to UK number +44 codes from an international phone line, this call is controlled entirely by the callers own local phone landline or mobile phone provider and has nothing to do with DIDcomms!
Even though you may think that because your call will not connect to a UK number provided by our telecoms network, when dialling it from an international phone line, that its our fault, its not! Calls dialled from an international phone line and governed and controlled by the callers own landline or mobile phone line provider in their country of origin from which the international phone call is being made.
It is the duty of all international telecoms network providers to keep up to date and to do the work to allow all calls to all UK numbering +44 codes on their networks and billing systems!
What must you do if your call will not connect to a UK number provided by our network?
If your international phone call made to a UK number will not connect via your landline or mobile phone line provider, then you need to call your landline or mobile phone line customer services and ask them why they are not allowing your international phone call to the particular UK number, quoting the full UK number to your phone company, so that they can make tests on their own network.
